Hi Evilace -- we are excited to have Wednesday 13 Wiki as part of the Wikia community!

Starting a new wiki can be a big job, but don't worry, the Wikia Community Team is here to help! We have put together a few guides to getting started. They say imitation is the best form of flattery so absolutely check out other wikis on Wikia for ideas on layout, ways to organize your content, etc. We are all one big family at Wikia and the most important thing is to have fun!

  • Our guide to Getting Started gives you 5 things you can do right now to set your wiki up for success
  • We also put together some Advice On Starting a Wiki which provides a more a in-depth look at some of the important things you should consider when building a wiki
  • If you are new to wikis in general than we recommend checking our new user FAQ

If you need help (which trust me we ALL do) you can access our full in-depth help at Help Wikia, or email us through our contact form.

Now, go edit! We look forward to seeing this project thrive!

Best wishes, Catherine Munro @fandom

Wdenesday 13 and Wikipedia. Edit

Hi, this is a brilliant idea, whish I'd thought of it first!

Over on wikipedia I am atempting to maintain the Wednesday 13 related pages, with an aim to keep the articles notable and upto date (though I'm usually lost with details from before FDQ), I was wondering if it would be viable to move the wikipedia pages over to the Wikia (info boxes, templates and all), and blend them with the pages already for the articles in question? (though, of course the wikia will have to be more Fan orientated, and doesn't need to be as dead pan and fact driven as wikipedia)

Also I am curious, if you know of any good references for Wednesday 13 (music review sites, magazine issue numbers/date, interviews) that could be used for reference on both wikipedia and here on the wikia, to improve the quality of the articles?

There has already been attempts to remove articles relating to Wednesday 13 from wikipedia, which is annoying.

Hi again, sorry it's took me so long to reply, if I did add anything, I doubt I'd take anything away, I'll try and create a few examples over the weekend to show what I'd intend to do. Vetis 23:22, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
